Privacy Policy
2.1 What We Collect
- Account/setup information: e.g., email, device ID, age attestation, purchase/order information (for order fulfillment and support).
- Conversational content: messages you send to the AI are stored locally on your Device. To generate a response, message content is transmitted to our servers, processed solely for the purpose of generating that response, and is not stored, logged, or used for any other purpose on our servers.
2.2 How Conversational Data Is Handled
- On the Device: your conversation history is stored locally on the Device itself.
- On our servers: when a message is sent to the AI, it passes through our servers only to generate a reply. Our servers do not retain, log, or further use that content once the response has been generated and returned to the Device — the message content is not used for analytics, training, human review, advertising, or any purpose beyond producing that one response.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
2.3 Important Limits on This Statement
- This describes our standard operating architecture, not an absolute technical guarantee. If any underlying AI infrastructure provider our servers call out to has its own short-term processing or caching, or if crash/error logs could incidentally capture partial content, that will be disclosed here.
- Because conversation history lives on the Device, anyone with physical access to the Device may be able to access stored conversations. The Device offers an optional, user-set in-app password to restrict access to the companion app; this is off by default unless you enable it, and it is an app-level lock, not full-disk encryption of the stored data. Users who want to restrict access to their conversation history should set this password themselves; Digiboo is not responsible for access to unprotected conversation data resulting from a user's choice not to enable it.
- We may retain non-conversational data (account info, purchase history, device diagnostics, aggregated/anonymized usage statistics) as needed to operate the Service, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
- If required by law (e.g., valid legal process) or in cases involving imminent risk to safety, we may be required to access or disclose data differently than described above. We do not represent that law enforcement can never obtain information.
2.4 How We Use Data
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Device and Service.
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations, including any state-specific requirements for companion AI operators (e.g., self-harm protocol reporting, minor-protection disclosures) where applicable.
2.5 Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
2.6 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact our support to make a request.
2.7 Children's Privacy
The Service is strictly not for use by anyone under 13, with no exceptions, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has provided personal information or is using the Service, we will delete that information and terminate the associated access. For users between 13 and 17, we encourage a parent or guardian to complete initial setup and to supervise ongoing use.
2.8 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or device notification.
